We are happy to announce that our Amarone Riserva has received 93 points from Club Oenologique, Sarah Heller.

The 2012 Riserva is a great tribute to this hot and dry but high-acid vintage, its big hydrocarbon nose, smoky and sharp, seeming to emanate heat, offset by tart dried red cherry and strawberry fruit beneath and freshening dried mint and tarragon. The acidity, initially tentative, catches up by midpalate, bringing a tonic freshness that complements supple tannic sinews, shaped over eight years in 50hL Slavonian casks.
